I had a great day yesterday. I got to see Ginger, who I haven't seen since High School, and met her daughters. In itself, that is pretty special. But, there is more...

Ginger donated three boxes full of fabric, zippers, purse handles, buttons and ribbon to me for my projects! She use to do a lot of sewing but now she makes jewelry. She was happy to find a home for her orphaned materials and I was more than happy to take them!

My mind has been in inspiration overload. So many new options. I try really hard not to buy anything for my projects. I like that they are all made from upcycled and freecycled donations, but it can be limiting. I can't wait to get to work on some new bags using these handles!
Of course Ginger is getting something out of this deal too. She gave me all of this in exchange for a wallet and a messenger tote. Now that's my kind of bargain!
