I've been sick for a long time, about 12 years. I've only been diagnosed for 1 1/2. Before that all the many doctors told me there was nothing wrong with me, I was just high strung.
A year before my diagnosis I was so "high strung" that I just couldn't handle my life anymore. I thought a life change might do me some good. So I quit skiing and I went back to school to study graphic design. I really liked it, but I got my diagnosis about 6 months into my studies. After a year I had to drop out. I was too sick.
I didn't leave without some skills though! I designed the above image for my doctor. The look of panic on my face the first time he prescribed the infamous "reverse latte" must have been priceless. He patted my leg and went on to explain the whole process while I continued to look on in horror.
Now, if you will excuse me, my coffee is waiting.

ReplyDeleteI also was super freaked out by the coffee thing...but now i just say i am gonna go have some coffee, and my hubby does not blink an eye! LOL
